MTech 2011 Benefit Medical Plan Comparison Tool

Not sure if you should take the PPO or HDHP this year?    Here is a worksheet to help you compare the two.

This is just to do a comparison using your best guess on expected medical expenses and it takes into account the difference in what each plan will cost you on your paycheck and if on the HDHP it also takes into account the money that MTech gives you for your Health Savings Account (H.S.A).   This is not an exact science since you can’t predict exactly what your medical expenses will be or exactly what each doctor will charge you, but it is one tool to help people compare the two plans.  2011 Benefit Plan Comparison Tool

If you have questions, please see myself, Michelle, or Angie.

MTech Project Recognized at AGC ACE Awards

Each year AGC hosts the ACE Awards which recognizes Excellence in Construction. The ACE Award is highly regarded in our industry.

MTech entered one project for an ACE Award this year:

CU Visual Arts Center in the Project of the Year $6 - $10 million, Specialty Contractor.

The ACE Award ceremony was held November 12, 2010 and I’m excited to announce that MTech took home the Bronze Award!  John Falzone, Preconstruction Manager, and Jeff Payne, Project Manager for the project, were at the awards ceremony to accept the honor.

The CU Visual Arts Project was a great project for MTech and played a very important role for us when getting the CU Systems Biotechnology Building that we are currently building. When you see someone from the project team, please congratulate them on a job well done!

MTech Announces New H.S.A. Benefit Option for 2010

It’s no secret that healthcare reform and costs are a hot topic these days and could affect medical offerings in the years to come.  It's also no secret that healthcare is getting less affordable every day and continues to escalate.  The growth trend in medical costs for 2010 is expected to be between 9 and 10 percent.  The increasing cost and current political climate leave most companies with unique challenges for their 2010 healthcare benefits strategies amid a deflated general economy. Go Here to read the flier.  The enrollment form can also be downloaded HERE.
